Thoughts vol 1.

I've disappeared for a while. At first I thought to lock away this little blog and forget it, but I couldn't stay away for long...In the meantime, I have been playing around with watercolors, beginning my mornings with a cup of tea, and thinking---
about ideas and characters and completely random dreams
(The sort conjured at night when fantasy bursts its seams)
and how short a summer I've left.
Would it not be a theft
To let time do away as it pleases?

The rhyme was a rather impromptu decision, yet it came out nicely!
To finish, here is a garland composed of watercolor leaves (they make wonderful decorations) and other small watercolor pieces. ♪

A Little Introduction

Hello.
I am a 14 year old who enjoys playing classical music (on the piano and violin), and as of late, has spawned an interest in photography. Sometimes I dream of adventures, yet other times prefer to stay home and become absorbed in the time I spend with pencil or paintbrush and sketchbook, or the moments I spend inventing characters and stories of my imagination to put in words.

Rainy Day

It's only once in a while that I have an enjoyment in days filled with the pattering of rain against windows and cloudy gray skies. Today was one of those days, and today the rain, along with the balmy weather, brought a sense of calm as well as a sky that infused the windows with the softest of afternoon light. It was almost suggestive of curling up with a book, and I did just that. Rainy days have their own charms, don't they?

And...finally, I have begun to blog, on a clean new page. I hope you will pardon my abrupt entrance; I plan on writing a (slightly more) formal introduction soon. As for now, this shall have to do... ♪
